Oritsejolomi "Tse (Shay)" Ogisi, son of Jolomi and Ranea Ogisi was conceived, born, confessed, accepted fellowship with God through Jesus Christ and knew wherein he will spend eternity. He believed in the tenets of 1 John concerning the treatment of your fellow man. Love is more than words. Love is expressing your relationship with God through actions.
Tse was born on July 1, 1981. The third child of Jolomi and Tisia Ranae, Tse was touched by the Lord early in life when he survived several dangerous operations. God in His infinite wisdom chose to protect Tse in his birth and blessed him to live 31 years.
As a boy, Tse and his family traveled the Midwest with the Tulsa Thunder Soccer Team which fostered his love and commitment for football. His love of football led him to many lifelong friendships along the way. Many of whom he would eventually call brother.
Tse graduated from Booker T. Washington H.S. in 1999 and from the University of Tulsa in 2005 with a BS in Management Information Systems. In 2006, he met his wife and soul mate Ashley and from this union was born their only son, Oritsejolomi Zaden. Tse Tse, as he was affectionately called, meant the world to his daddy.
Tse was preceded in death by his uncle and karate instructor Marty Reed. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Gouthier-Ogisi, and son, Oritsejolomi "Tse Tse" Ogisi, father, Jolomi Ogisi, and mother, Tisia Ranea Ogisi, grandmother, Betty Bingham, two sisters, Felicia Balfour and Omare Jimmerson, two brother-n-laws, Jesse Balfour and Shontonio Jimmerson, two nieces, Ta'Misen Balfour and Charis Tobler, one great nephew, Zaiden Williams, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As Tse has transitioned to a far better place, we will reflect and remember how he touched our lives. This gentle giant was a daredevil who was known for saying, "I'm buff!" and "I put that on my momma…" in his animated way. But that overwhelming persona never stopped him from helping other people. As he was large in stature, he was even larger in life in the way he loved. These memories and thoughts will keep us until we see him on the other side with the Lord. "Rich Foeva!"
Services for Mr. Oritsejolomi Omonigho Ogisi will be Tuesday November 6, 2012 at 11AM at Paradise Baptist Church. Friends may visit Mr. Ogisi on Monday from 10AM until 7PM in Tulsa.
