IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Orlando Reed,
Jr.
April 8, 1997 – December 23, 2022
Orlando Reed, Jr., was born April 8, 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beloved son to Audra (Tonya) Jones and Orlando Reed, Sr., who went to be with our Lord, December 23, 2022, at the age of 25. As a baby, he was very vocal and opinionated. He liked who he liked and disliked who he didn't and believe us, you would know. The biggest cry baby of the family, everyone can attest to that.
Orlando was a Bristow native, but the toll gate attendants would beg to differ. He attended Mitchell Elementary School and Lewis Clark Middle School. He was a proud graduate of East Central High School, Class of 2015, and was nominated Best Dressed senior year. After high school, he went on to attend Tulsa Community College but ended up finding a new passion and becoming a forklift driver to support his entrepreneurial spirit *wink* *wink*. From his infectious laughter to instigative nature, he always made a grand entrance wherever he went. Life of the party, you were sure to have a good time if he was there. Landie enjoyed dancing, starting stuff, shopping, family, and friends. If you knew him, you became his family.
On Friday at 1:03 PM, of December 23, 2022, Orlando's soul was called home to be with the Lord. Orlando was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Jean Gibbs, grandfather, Paul Ray Simpson, step-grandfather, Louis A. Mack.
Orlando leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Orlando Reed, Sr.; mother, Audra (Tonya) Jones; grandfather, Ronnie Reed; grandmother, Delores Mack; siblings, Austin L. Jones, Ashanti Colbert, Breanna Giger, Shanequa Lewis, Brandy Powell, Devonta Reed, Jamari Reed, R'Lando Reed, and R'Landria Reed; stepsiblings, Ashlei Barron, Brandei Barron, and Aaliyah Barron; aunts and uncles, Toi M. Simpson-Crowder (Emmanuel Crowder), Larry Gamble, Jr., Bridget Williamson, Tandaleo Gamble, Renaldo Gamble, Sr., Rhonda Reed, Ronnie Springs, Baylee Shultz, Camron McQueen, and Jessica Robinson; and as well as a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Celebratory Service for Orlando will commence on Wednesday morning, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the most holy sanctuary of Going Hard for Christ.
Burial will follow in the Harlinsville Cemetery in Bristow.
You may visit Orlando, as he slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Tulsa on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
