Mrs. Pandora Wilkerson, in her 93rd Season Quietly Transitioned to Eternal Rest Wednesday March 15, 2017 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Pandora Arthalia Wilkerson was born April 26, 1923 to LeGusta and Fred Davis Sr.,  the second child of four children and attended school in Muskogee.

At an early age she found Christ at the Church of God in Christ, where her father was a Deacon.  Pandora had a green thumb.  She loved to plant and grow beautiful flowers and loved to cook and try new recipes.  She had a huge library of cook books and she also enjoyed going to garage sales, playing cards, and collecting several items.  She was a faithful member of No Walls Church in Muskogee.

She met and married Floyd Manuel Wilkerson.  From this union twelve children were born.  Pandora cared for her mother until her death and she cooked everyday for ninety two years, until her health failed.  She and her baby brother took care of each other until her death.  Mother Wilkerson was a faithful member of No Walls Church in Muskogee.

Preceding her in death;  her husband Floyd Wilkerson, mother LeGusta Davis, father-Fred Davis Sr., sister Mable Calvert, brother –Fred Davis Jr., and son Lincoln L. Wilkerson.

Pandora leaves to cherish her memory; her brother Ray Lamont Davis, Sr.; Five daughters, Elizabeth Sanders (Lewis) of Omaha Nebraska, Arthalia Garrett (Terry),  Pamela Houston, Nancy Kay Swanson (Leonard) all of Muskogee, and Andrea Wilkerson of Tulsa.  Six sons William Wilkerson (Karen) of Tulsa, Orlando Wilkerson of St. Paul Minnesota, Carl Wilkerson (Debbie), Robert Wilkerson (Karen) both of Oklahoma City, Cody Wilkerson (Lisa) of Tulsa,  Dion Wilkerson of Muskogee;  51 grandchildren, 101 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; Along with a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and many, great friends.

The Service, Celebrating the Life of Mother Wilkerson will commence on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the most holy sanctuary of the Timothy Baptist Church,  5530 West Okmulgee Avenue in Muskogee.  Pastor Kelly Payne is the gracious host, and Pastor Terry Garrett, Pastor of No Walls Community Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow the celebration in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.

You may visit Mother Wilkerson, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 Noon until 7:00 PM.
