Mr. Pat Rucker, after 84 years with us, left this life for a life eternal on Saturday evening, December 19, 2020 from Muskogee.
Mr. St. Patrick Elliot Rucker was born on March 17, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK. To the union of Alex and Indy Rucker, he was the 11th child of 13 children.
Pat loved the lord and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptised at Macedonia Baptist Church under the late Reverend McFrazier. Having a personal relationship with the Lord he then joined Elohim Love Center under Pastor Steve Rucker.
Pat attended school at Langston Elementary in Reeves-Addition and continued his schooling at sadler junior high/ manual training. He was a man of many trades such as construction, and Tree Trimming (A man fond of the outdoors). Family gatherings and keeping in touch with his family, all about love, and laughter with a genuine good dice game.
Pat, Met and married in 1954 to Mae Katherine and their union was blessed with eight children. Later in life he met and married Bertie Jane on October 21,1963; their union was kept until her passing. After many years, he married Phyllis.
Greeted at the hands of God, his parents, six sisters, five brothers, and preceding him in death are his children Lizzy Mae, Jonique Kimble, and Beverly Jane Stancle-Lewis. Pat was Affectionately known to his family as "Bubba", "Hands", and "Paw Paw".
He leaves to honor and celebrate his life, Phyllis of the home. Two daughters, Patricia Mae & Loretta Rucker both of Muskogee, OK; Nine sons, Kenneth Rucker, Jerry (Anita) Rucker of Sprio, OK;Reverend Steve(Audrey) Rucker, Bruce Rucker, Tony (Tawana)Rucker, Don(Annette) Cubit of Muskogee, OK;Gary (Diane) Rucker of Wagnor, OK; Shavonna Rucker of Tulsa Ok; One sister, Lucille Vann of Oklahoma City, OK; One sister in law, Pearline Rucker of Kansas City, MO; Nathaniel (Jennifer) Stancle, Ronnie(Daisey) Stancle, Linda Stancle, all of Muskogee, OK. Gary(Sharon) Stancle of Mellissa, Tx; Francine(Glenn) Green, Brenda Stancle of Muskogee, Ok. Annette Glenn, Oklahoma City, Ok. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a special niece, Helen Chaplin of Muskogee, Ok. Leaving a Legacy of five generations of Ruckers, to carry on his name.
The Final Hour for Mr. Rucker will commence on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the most holy sanctuary of Life Point Church. Pastor Guy Parish is the gracious host, and Pastor Steve Rucker, Officiating.
