Obituary
Ms. Patricia Ann Ankrom, after 61 years, surrendered to the will of God on Friday, January 20, 2012 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Patricia Ann Thomas was born on October 1, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Osborne and Catherine [LaToure] Thomas, Sr. She was the oldest of six children in the family.
Patricia attended Muskogee Public Schools and was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was an active member of the choir and a member of the Altar Society. During her lifetime, she worked as a nurse aid and a certified medication aide a various nursing homes in the area for many years.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John Ankrom; her parents, and her loving son, Robert Thomas. She will be lovingly rememberd by her grandson, Darryl Thomas; her sisters, LaRita Thomas and Kathy Allen; her brothers, Osborne Thomas, Jr.., Derrick Thomas and Harrison Thomas; a loving and devoted Uncle and Aunt, Arthur and Mildred Colbert; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Ceremony will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Michael Knipe will officiate.
