Patsy Ruth Harrison was born to Rachel and J.W. Harrison November 4, 1951, in Ft. Townson, OK.
Patsy accepted Christ at an early age and united with Galilee Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the Youth Department and Sunday School. Patsy received an Appreciation Plaque for 40 years of service on April 30, 2000.
She was raised and nurtured in love by Rachel and A.D. Royal and attended Tulsa public schools, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School. Patsy was blessed with four beautiful children, Dava Dezell, Roger Wayne, Nicole Arlene, and Richard LaDaniel.
She worked for a number of years at Morton Health Center, Ramada Hotel, Oral Roberts Hospital, and Drug Warehouse until her health no longer permitted her to work, but her greatest service and joy was to be with and around her family and friends.
Ms. Patsy Ruth Harrison, at the age of 71, Peacefully Transitioned to Eternal Rest on March 11, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; stepfather; brothers, Grover Don, Luther, Clifford, and William; sisters, Linda Kay, Rietta; son, Roger Wayne; son-in-law, Tommy Charles Anderson, and brother-in-law, Phil Williams.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Dava Dezell, Nicole Arlene, and Richard LaDaniel; grandchildren, Shamicka, Dava Jr., Roger Jr. "Lil Roger," Rachiene Marie "Ray Ray," Jasmine, Patricia, DeAndre, Janea, James, and Anisha; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Love, Fayetta
Williams, Carolyn McElroy, and David Calvin McLemore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her memories will forever be in our hearts.
The Sacred Farewell for Ms. Harrison will commence on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Eleventh Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Greater Mount Rose Baptist Church in Tulsa, Ok.
You may visit Patsy, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Tulsa on Monday, March 20, 2023, between the hours of 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens in Tulsa.
