Obituary

Mr. Paul Eugene Johnson, after 66 years, left this life for eternity on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from Okmulgee.

Mr. Johnson was born in Okmulgee on January 13, 1941, the son of Alonzo and Helen [Jefferson] Johnson. He attended school in Okmulgee, graduating from Historic Dunbar High School with the Class of 1960.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy from February of 1963 to January of 1967. He was a member of Conversion Ministries since joining on March 24, 2002.

Mr. Johnson worked as a bouncer and a security officer. He had lived in California and later Tulsa, before returning to Okmulgee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He leaves behind a wife, Carla, Tulsa, OK; his children DeMario Oats, Ranica Crowder, and Charles Crowder, all of Tulsa, OK.; a sister Ola Mae Ford, and a brother, Herbert Johnson, both of Oklmulgee, OK.; 2 grandchildren; as well as one special grand-daughter, LuQuita Abington, Arlington, TX. along with other relatives and friends.

The farewell will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Peace at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee. Reverend Gregory Richardson, Pastor of Conversion Ministries, will officiate.

Burial will be on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. You may visit Mr. Johnson on Monday from 12 Noon to 6 PM at the funeral home in Okmulgee.
