Obituary

The Matriarch of
Mrs. Pauline Charles Williams

On June 25, 1922, God planted a flower in His earthy garden. Mike and Pinkie Charles chose to name this gift from God, Pauline.
Growing up in Haskell, Oklahoma, "Polly" as she was affectionately known, lived a full life.

She met and married Henry Lee Williams. During their 30 years of marriage, the couple was blessed with four children: Shirlene Rose Williams (Skillens), Henry Carter (Marva) Williams, Ronnie Lee (Vanessa) Williams, Christopher Ray (Carmen) Williams.

Polly devoted her life to God, her church and her family. As a servant of God, Polly Williams was an Usher and Secretary of Treasury for 60 years in the house of The Lord at Timmons Temple Church of God in Christ in Springfield, Missouri. She instilled the love of Christ in all she met.

Shirlene departed from the family union March 2, 1991. The head of the house, Henry Lee Williams, went home to be with The Lord, March 22, 2004.

Her legacy of kisses, hugs, and words of wisdom will remain with us forever. This legacy is left in the hands of her 3 surviving children; her oldest granddaughter, caregiver, and best friend Kesha Williams, 13 other grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Aunt Polly will be missed by scores of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Mrs. Pauline "Polly"Williams will be Friday May 16, 2014 at 11AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel.

Friends may visit Mrs. Williams on Thursday from 12Noon until 7PM in Tulsa.
