Mr. Philip Alfred Jordan, in his 67th year, closed his eyes on earth for eternal rest on Wednesday morning, April 27, 2022 from his home in Tulsa.

Life's Reflection

Philip A. Jordan was born on December 6, 1954, to Alfred and Annie Jordan of Baltimore, Maryland. He matriculated through the Baltimore Maryland Schools System. After leaving school, he decided to serve his country by enlisting in the National Guard and then in the United States Army, where he served in the Gulf War and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic service and achievement.

After his valiant career in the military, Philip moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began his career as a quality control inspector for various companies. During this time, Philip met and married the love of his life, Louise Dupont, and became a devoted husband and an instant father to Kathrine.

Philip was a caring and loving family man. He adored his wife and made sure that she was taken care of. His bonus daughter, Kathrine, was the light of his life, and he took the role of fatherhood seriously. He was Kathrine's number one fan and demonstrated and modeled how a man should treat her. After Kathrine got married and had her three sons, he was continuously checking on his grandsons to make sure they were good. You would often hear Philip bragging about his grandsons to anyone that would listen.

Philip was a man that loved people. Everyone that knew Philip knew that he had never met a stranger. He was genuinely concerned about the well-being of people. If there was a need, he wanted to meet it. From the homeless to the mail carrier, you will always find Philip lending a helping hand.

Philip was a man of faith and gave his life to the Lord as a teen. He was a member of Tulsa, Oklahoma's New Life Christian Center.

Philip departed this life on April 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved Aunt Shirley. Philip leaves to mourn his passing: his devoted wife Louise of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Kathrine (Terry) Oakley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandsons, Braiden, Eli, and Isaac Oakley; Aunt Clara of Baltimore, MD and two cousins, Jeffrey Bedford (Frances) of Baltimore, MD and Monica (Jeannie) Rogers of Baltimore MD; Brother in Love, Guy (Sylvie) Dupont; Sisters in Love: Denyse (Michel) Dupont; Sylvie (Hughes) Dupont; Lyne (Claude)Dupont of Quebec, Canada, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Tulsa Chapel.
