Phyllis Margaret Thomas was born to Floretta and Robert Jenkins on January 23, 1950.  Phyllis was born in Redbird, Oklahoma but raised in Tulsa where she conceived her first born, Debbie Jenkins.  Phyllis attended Carver High School where she met Jimmie Thomas.  She and Jimmie got married in 1966.  Jimmie and Phyllis shared 3 children together, Jimmie Lee Thomas Jr. and Dorothy Thomas.  Phyllis conceived her last child Retonja Jenkins in 1969.

Phyllis enjoyed cooking family dinners and surrounding herself with family and friends.  Phyllis always spoke her mind but loving and caring at the same time.  Phyllis always had an open door for family and friends when they needed a place to stay.

Those that preceded her in death were her father Robert Jenkins, her mother Floretta Jenkins, grandson; Barry Thomas and grandmother Jimmy Lee Ball.

Phyllis leaves behind to mourn:  her four children Debbie and Jimmy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dorothy and Retonja of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1 brother Jimmy Jenkins, 8 grandchildren Patrick, Rodney, Toshee, Andre, Darnell, Theo, Sergio, Clarkisha and Waymon, 28 great grand children and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 11AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.

Interment will follow at Red Bird Cemetery in Red Bird, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1PM until 7PM inside The Tulsa Chapel
