Mrs. Phyllis Machel Thurston, in her 66th year of life, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Thursday morning, September 24, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving family near her side.
The Hour of Remembrance for Phyllis will commence on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 10:30AM in the most holy sanctuary of Four Mile Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma where Pastor Terry Kirts will preside.
The Christian Committal will follow the services in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 12:30PM.
You may visit Mrs. Thurston as she slumbers in sweet repose on Thursday, October 1, 2026, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM in the People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee.
