On the 29th of June 1940, Quincyetta Johnson was born to Autherine Thompson in Muskogee. Quincyetta attended Muskogee Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Manuel Training High School in 1958. Quincyetta was known by many as "Lucky" this name was given to her by her aunts after she and her mother nearly drowned in a lake. Quincyetta was a kind, generous and caring person her comforting words and honesty extended beyond Muskogee. No matter whom she met whether it was a patient at the hospital, friend or a stranger. She would always greet you with her lovely warm smile. That smile meant a lot to people that were needing comfort at a time of distress. Quincy was very knowledgeable about her profession, in her neighborhood friends and family would often call on her to educate them on their medicine or ask questions about their illness. Quincyetta accepted Christ at a very early age at Deans Chapel her families church and was also the churches nurse for several years.
