Obituary
Mrs. Rachel Smith, in her 85th year, "made it over" on Sunday, August 14, 2011 from a nursing home in Bristow, Oklahoma.
Born in Okmulgee on December 30, 1925, she was a housewife all of her life, where she nurtured and cared for the family members who were so dear to her heart.
The final hour with Sister Smith will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Peace at the funeral home in Okmulgee. Reverend J. B. Campbell, Pastor of Cleaves Memorial CME Church of Okmulgee will officiate, assisted by Elder Kermit R. Perry.
The Christian Committal will follow in the Southwest Cemetery.
You may visit her, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until 6 PM.
