Raphiel was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on April 28, 1983. Guided by his family's Christian values, he professed a love for the Lord at an early age and made his church home at Beebe Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.


Raphiel grew up in Muskogee, where he attended Muskogee Public Schools, graduating from Muskogee High School with the Class of 2001. He was an avid sportsman, excelling in Football, Soccer and Basketball. While yet young, he appeared to be older than he actually was because of his height. During these times, especially in soccer, he would often be asked to present his birht certificate as proof of his actual age.


At fifteen years old, he was certified as a life-guard and gained employment at the Red Cross. Rapiel loved the company of others. He never met a stranger and would make other laugh. He loved to travel and often worked out of state, as a laborer. Raphiel will truly be missed by his family and friends. To know him was to love him.


Raphiel, after 24 years, left this life for a life eternal on Monday, August 20, 2007 from Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an aunt and an uncle.


He leaves with broken hearts while yet praising God; his precious baby girl, Kyla; his devoted parents, Shawn and Shelia Crutcher, of the home in Muskogee; his father, Charles Collins, Ocilla, Georgia; two brothers, Kendall, Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Myram, Atlanta, Georgia; his sister, Mariah, Langston, Oklahoma; along with a caravan of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The farewell tribute will be on Saturday morning, August 25, 2007 in the Beebe Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 700 South 7th Street. Reverend Fedro Givens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
