Obituary

Ray Kenny Factory, after blessing us for seventy-two years, surrendered his soul on the 14th day of December 2015.

Born in McAlester, Oklahoma, on November 14, 1943, Ray Kenny was the first born son of Rosielee Celestine (Johnson) and Luther L. Factory.

Ray grew up in McAlester, Oklahoma where he began his formative years at L'Ouverture Elementary School. The family then moved to Los Angeles, California, where he attended Samuel Gompers Jr. High School, only later to return home to McAlester, Oklahoma where he excelled in football at L'Ouverture High School, and graduated with the class of 1962.

After completing High School, he attended College before joining the United States Army.

His Enlisted Service includes:

United States Army June 1961-May 1993
• Commissioned Service (13years/3months), Enlisted Service (14years/4months)
• 27years/7months of Service in the Infantry Division; 1st Lieutenant (1980), Captain (1983), Major (1989)
• Last assignment prior to retirement: Brigade, S-2/S-3 Operations Officer
• Oklahoma War Veterans Commission, Commissioner 1986-1991
• Decorations: Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Medical Badge, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Expert Marksman Badge (M-16, 45 Caliber Pistol and Carbine)

Mr. Factory's Civilian Occupation was with the US Dept of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service,as a Revenue Officer and he Retired in May of 2013

Ray Kenny was the family Genealogist for decades. He cherished and loved his family and friends and always put them first.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Oscar Elmer Factory.

Those he leaves to cherish his loving memory are his wife of 42 years, Barbara (Bob), his son Herbert Lee and Shae Factory, and grandson Ryan Lee Factory, and two great-grandchildren Ry'lee Factory and Ryan Factory Jr.; brother Lawrence and Robin Factory, St. Louis, MO; sister Carolyn Carter, Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law Deborah Factory, Atlanta, GA; niece Nichelle Alves; nephews Antonio Jones, Noland Jones, Oscar Factory III, Shea Factory, Brett Factory, Brandon Factory; uncle James and Marjorie Factory, Waldorf, MD; aunt Paul and Thelma Meadows, McAlester, OK; "special aunts" Mary Factory, Christine Keith, Wilma Green, McAlester, OK; "special brothers" Robert Factory, Harold Factory, Oklahoma City, OK; cousins Linda Young, Cynthia Davis, Karen Salmon, Patricia Adams, Stacie Edmond, Reba Nichols, Pearl Borders, Shirely Borders, Brenda Borders, Helen Borders, Wonder Borders, Tanya Redway, Kathy Graves, Donna Graves, Zendre' Boyd.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church. The Christian Committal will follow in the Beggs City Cemetery.

You may visit Mr. Factory, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home Chapel.
