To the delight of his parents, Raymond Milton Busby and
Hazel Code Busby, a baby boy was born on September 2,
1947. He was named Raymond Milton Busby, Jr. Raymond
was the first child, and only boy, born to this couple. His
other siblings were two girls: Renell Antoinette and Angela
Dianne.

Raymond received his early education through Tulsa Public
Schools. He attended Dunbar and Charles S. Johnson
Elementary Schools, then Carver and Anderson Junior High
where he graduated in 1965. After graduation, Raymond
attended The University of Oklahoma for two years. While
there, he met and married his first wife, Carolyn Nickerson,
who predeceased him in death. He later married Lovie
McFarland. There were no children born to either union.

Raymond's spirit joined the Lord on December 14, 2015 at
6:20 pm. The Gates of Heaven were already wide open for
him to join his father, Raymond, Sr. and step-father, Simon
Richardson who preceded him in death.
Raymond leaves his mother, Hazel Richardson, two sisters:
Aneesah 'Renell' Muwwakkil and Angela Myrick, three
step-sisters: Margaret Stripling, Maxine Nichan, Sharon
Steele, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be Monday December 21, 2015 at 11AM at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Tulsa.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3PM-5PM in Tulsa.
