It all began on january 6, 1950, when Albert and Ruby Demery were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He was the 10th child of 13 born from this union. The named him Ryamond Phillip.

Raymond attended Wheatley School and later graduted from Beggs High School with the Class of 1970. he was a jack of all trades, but was known for his talents on the football team, clearly one of teh best players at the school. He was also a member of the Beggs Mustangs Round-up club and loved the Rodeo.

He leaves behind; 4 children, Raymond Jr., Rachelle [Lloyd] Adams, Andre and Ramon Sr., all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Elmer Demery, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clarence [Linda] Demery, Preston, Oklahoma, James Demery, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Reginald Demery, Beggs, Oklahoma; 5 sisters, Velma [Isiah] Taylor, Beggs, Oklahoma, Alma [Alfonza]Young, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dorothy [Ervin] Walker, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stella [Clyde] McCall, Beggs, Oklahoma; along with other relatives and friends.

The final tribute, Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church, South, Beggs, Oklahoma. Dr. Maurice Williams, The Gracious Host Pastor and Reverend Melvin Johnson, Officiating. Burial at New Post Oak Cemetery, NW of Beggs.
