Obituary

When a child is born a life journey begins, be it a long or short journey. The journey of life is at times wondrous, filled with love and joy, or challenging, filled with hardship and grief. Such is life for everyone. Such was the life of Regina Ann McIntosh. Regina was born in Clinton, Oklahoma to Betty Jean Lewis on December 6, 1961. She was the first of four children. Regina was preceded in death by her father, LaPrentis McIntosh, her Grandparents Milton and Hattie McIntosh and Grandmother Fannie Mae Berry.

Regina began her education at McKinley Elementary in Harvey, Illinois.   She would go on to attended school at Robert Frost Elementary School and Holy Family Cathedral School, both in Tulsa Oklahoma. She attended junior high and graduated high school at Thomas Alva Edison with the Class of 1980 in Tulsa.

Regina was always a very talented and creative person. During high school, she modeled for JC Penny. She love to sing and play piano, and even recorded her very own Gospel CD. She love crocheting and needle work. Regina would often create beautiful works of art and give them away, sometimes as surprise gifts, and always without asking for anything in return. She had always been the kind of person that would not hesitate to help someone if she were able. She loved everyone she encountered and loved being charitable.

A life-long Christian, Regina kept in the company of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. As a teenager, she was baptized at Northside Church Of God In Christ. On October 1, 2000 Regina became an ordained minister at Pentecostal Way of Tulsa, Oklahoma under the leadership of Pastor Imogene Ferguson.

On March 10, 2014 Regina's earthly journey ended and she began her new life at home in heaven. She leaves behind to celebrate her homecoming; her mother Betty Jean McIntosh her three siblings LaPrentis Eugene McIntosh, Shawana LaEttia McIntosh-Foster [husband David C. Foster], Treena Corett McIntosh; her nieces Christina Dihana McIntosh, Cherub Moriah Foster, and Ari LaTreece Vice; her nephew Elijah Shamar Vice; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends, and of course her young godson Victor.
