IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Reon D.
Bell
June 27, 1986 – July 17, 2024
My name is Reon Dedrae Bell, and I was born on June 27, 1986, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Gwendolyn Bell and Renaldo Titsworth. I was their second son, the little brother to Renaldo Bell. Little Renaldo and I were more than just siblings; we were best friends who loved each other unconditionally.
Our family grew when our mom blessed us with three more siblings: Tracy Mahone Jr., Stacy Mahone, and Perry Bruner Jr. We boys were close and adored our only sister, spoiling her whenever we could. She was a bit jealous when Perry Jr. took her title as the baby, but she got over it. Despite the 27-year age gap between Perry Jr. and me, I made sure to connect with my little brother. I would bring him toys and encourage him and all the children in their sports endeavors.
When people in Muskogee hear the Bell name, they probably think of superior athletes. I carried that legacy with pride. I played basketball and excelled in football. I graduated from Muskogee High in 2004. I also had a knack for coordinating my outfits with a nice pair of kicks and a matching baseball cap. My dad would always send me more caps than I needed. I loved jewelry and had a collection of watches.
I lived life and had fun, but I never was a violent person. Because of that it's hard knowing that violence is what ended my life on the early morning of July 17, 2024. However, family and friends take comfort in knowing my mom made sure I had Christ in my life. I was baptized at an early age at Christ Kingdom Builders by Rev. Ron Venters.
Momma, I'm sorry that my absence has probably broken your heart, but rest assured that you are truly the best mom ever. You never wavered in your love for me, even when I did wrong. I rest knowing you gave me Christ and unconditional love. Perry Sr., thank you for being more than just a stepfather, thank you for always encouraging me and praying with and for me.
To my kids, Reon Jr., Aireonna, and Wesley. I love you all more than you'll ever know. I pray that your life will be filled with happiness and joy. I love you!
Sis, don't be angry. However wrong it was, just know you don't have to get revenge. Trust in God it's all going to work out. Same to you Renaldo, Tracy, Perry, cousins and friends — I am OK. Remember the fun times. Honor me by walking with Christ so we can be together again.
Proceeding him in death are his maternal grandmother, Betty Bell; his paternal grandfather, William Allen Sr.; and his aunt, Cayetta Allen.
Cherishing his memory are his parents: Gwendolyn Bell-Bruner, Perry Bruner Sr., and Renaldo Titsworth; his siblings: Renaldo Bell Sr., Tracy (Icely) Mahone, Stacy Mahone, Perry Bruner Jr., Keri Bruner, and Jaela Bell; his children: Reon Jr., Aireonna, and Wesley; his grandmother, Geraldine Titsworth; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend
