Rev. David Burks, Jr. the Pastor Emeritus of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma transitioned to Eternal Reward in the Morning Hours of Wednesday May 16, 2018 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
The Celebratory Worship Service for Reverend Burks will commence on Thursday, May May 24, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the most holy sanctuary of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. D. M. Currington, Senior Pastor, will Preside.
Reverend Burks will then rest in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
You may visit Reverend Burks, as he slumbers in peaceful repose in the Chapel of Peace at the funeral home in Okmulgee on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 11AM until 6PM. You may also visit him on Thursday, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Church, until service time.
