Obituary
The Reverend Walter E. Brown, Sr., a servant of God, "took flight with Angels, to thine place of rest" on Wednesday afternoon, January 12, 2011, with his loving family by his side to witness.
During his 82 years of longevity, Reverend Brown Pastored the Antioch Baptist Church of Tahlequah, as well as the Historic First Baptist Church before his retirment.
His loving and devoted wife, Sarah Brown, of the home in Summit, near Muskogee will cherish his loving memory, along with his children, grandchildren, other family members and friends.
The Worship Service Celebrating his life shall commence on Friday, January 2,1 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the most sacred sanctuary of the Boulevard Christian Church, 1700 West Shawnee Avenue in Muskogee. His son, Reverend Walter E. Brown, Jr., Pastor of St. John Baptist Church of Gibson Station, Oklahoma, will Preside.
The Christian Committal will follow the service in the Four Mile Branch Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
You may visit Pastor Brown, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until 6 PM and on Friday morning, from 9 AM until 10:30 AM.
