The Reverend James K. Williams, in his 66th year, received his Crown of Righteousness from the Lord on Sunday morning, February 3, 2008 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Reverend Williams pastored the Northwest Chapel Baptist Church and Osage Avenue Christian Church in Okmulgee, among others.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves in God's care; his wife, Edna Williams, Sapulpa, OK; his sons, Darrell Redeau, Beggs, OK, Reginald Campbell, Tulsa, OK, Derrick Williams, Beggs, OK and James Jarrod Williams, Okmulgee, OK; his daughters, Patty Smith, Oklahoma City, OK, Paula Smith, Bartlesville, OK, LaDonna Freeman, Oklahoma City, OK, U'Lawna Freeman, Oklahoma City, OK, Amy Thompson, Tulsa, OK and Kenesha Tolon, Tulsa, OK; his brothers, Rev. Theodore Williams, Ft. Smith, AR, Bobbie Joe Williams, Los Angeles, CA and Rev. John Dale Holland, Little Rock, AR; his sisters, Mary Ann Cole, Ft. Smith, AR, Mozelle Holland, Merrilville, IN, Maureen Mobley, St. Louis, MO and Rose Owens-West, El Sobrante, CA; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a caravan of other relatives and friends.
The Sacred Farewell will be on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Assembly of God Church, Cushing, Oklahoma. Dr. Maurice Williams, Pastor of First Baptist Church-South in Beggs will officiate. The Christian Committal will follow in the Silver Star Masonic Cemetery in Cushing.
