On July 5, 1956, in Tucson, Arizona, a precious bundle of joy was born to Willie Goudeau and Alberta Jordan. Their joy was a bouncing baby boy named Richard. The seventh of thirteen children born to this union, Richard attended schools in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from South Mountain High School with the class of 1975. In 1994, Richard moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma. There, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He worked at Okmulgee Terrace Nursing Home, as an assistant physical therapist. He then met, and married Andrea Parker, inheriting three step children: John, Kierra, and Skyler Parker.
On June 19, 2011, Richard Goudeau, finished his course, and entered Eternal Rest. His parents, brother, Willie Goudeau, Jr., and and sister Carolyn Goudeau Staten, preceded him in death. Remaining to cherish his precious memories: his son Richard Goudeau, Jr. (Brenda), two granddaughters: Ariana, and Anisa Goudea, Mesa, Arizona, five brothers: Oscar Goudeau, Marvin Goudeau, both of Okmulgee, OK., Michael Goudeah, Boynton, OK., Charles Goudeau, Mark Goudeau (Wendy), Phoenix, AZ., five sisters: Jean Belt (Doyle), Mary Melvin (O'Dell), Peggy Warren, Sharon Goudeah, all of Phoenix, AZ., Brenda Goudau, Tempe, AZ., spouse along with a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Goudeau will be Saturday June 25, 2011 at 11AM at Cleaves Memorial CME Church in Okmulgee. Visitation is set for Friday from 1PM-6PM.
