Services for Mr. Richard Markham will be Saturday October 30, 2010 at 3PM at Full Gospel Outreach Ministries.

Visitation will be in Tulsa from 12Noon to 7PM.

On the 13th day of August, in the year of 1962, a handsome, baby boy was born from the union of Floyd Dwayne Markham and Carrie Barbra Ann Williams in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was given the name Richard Dwayne Markham.


Richard was born the seventh and only male to a house full of seven women; Connie Shepard, Neport News, VA [Robert], Bobbie Jean Williams, Tulsa, OK, Darlean Williams, Tulsa, Earlean Williams, Atlanta, GA, Dianne Owens, Tulsa [Robert], Carolyn Williams, Newport News, VA and Sundra Fulbright, Tulsa [Byron], as well as his paternal brothers, Wendell Markham and Floyd Markham, Jr.


Richard attended high school at Raymond McClain High School in Tulsa. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He was very proud of his career choice.


He moved back to Tulsa and worked for his father at Markham & Son filler station. He was the top of the line mechanic during that time.


In his 48th year, Richard Dwayne Markham surrendered his soul and on October 22, 2010, the Heaven's opened up to receive him. He was met at Heaven's gate by his parents, his paternal brother, Kenny Markham and his sister, Michelle.


He leaves to cherish his memory; four children, Brandon Danna, Callie Danna, Dylysia Markham and Richard Markham, Jr. Richard also had sseven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
