Richard was born September 12, 1944 to Clyde and Edith Rentie. Richard was the seventh of eight children. He was the father of two sons, Robert Rentie, and Dewey Rentie of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Winford, Elgean Rentie and one sister Bobbie Rentie-Padillow.
Richard leaves to mourn two sisters: Ruby Griffith, Tulsa, OK., Wilma Carouthers, Kansas City, MO., four brothers: Clyde Rentie, Ft. Worth, TX., (Barbara), Freddie Lee Rentie (Vertula), Tulsa, OK., Alfred Joe, Okmulgee, OK., and Theodore Rentie (Dandra), Norman, OK., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He adored his special sister, Ruby, whom he loved so dearly for taking care of him and supporting him for many, many years.

Services for Mr. Rentie will be Friday August 30, 2013 at 1PM inside our All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa. Friends may visit Mr. Rentie on Thursday from 5PM until 7PM and Friday from 9AM until 12Noon in Tulsa.
