His Story;

Mr. Robert Noble Lee, Sr. was born to Elnora Barbee and Ed Lee in Beggs, Oklahoma.

He was educated in the Beggs Public School System. Later in life, he met and married Opal Jean Johnson. Their loving union was blessed with eight sons and one daughter.

Mr. Lee worked in the construction industry until he retired. He loved farming, and most of all he loved his sons.

Mr. Robert Noble Lee, Sr. departed this life on April 14, 2012 in Beggs, Oklahoma. His wife, Opal Jean, his parents, and a daughter preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory, eight sons: Jerry Lee, Robert Lee, Richard Lee (Patricia), Kenneth Lee (Angie), Garlind Lee, Carlos Lee, Derrick Lee (Janet), all of Tulsa, OK., Roy Lee (Alika), Wynnewood, OK., and one brother, Donald Williams, Tulsa, OK., one aunt, Maud Alma Barbee, Beggs, OK., three sisters in-law: Paulette Cohen, Tulsa, OK., Gloria Ann Pittman, Tulsa, OK., Teresa Matlock, Oklahoma City, OK., six brothers-in-law: Calvin Johnson, St. Charles, MO., William Johnson, Harbor City, CA., Don Johnson, Terry Johnson, Oklahoma City, OK., Kerry Johnson, Tulsa, OK., 38 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, and friends.

Services will be Saturday April 21, 2012 at 10AM at The Evening Light Church of God in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Friday from 12 Noon to 6PM.
