"Cycle of Life"
Roberta Lynn Howell was born on March 30, 1944, to Angie Lee King and Alfonso King. Roberta was one of the eldest of fourteen children born to this union. She was born and raised in Madill, Oklahoma. She was educated at an early age in the Madill public school system, where she graduated high school in 1961. Roberta relocated to Tulsa in 1962 with the late Benny Cash and they raised four daughters. Roberta continued her education with an Associates degree at Career Point College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roberta was employed and retired from Bama Pie, Inc., after over 20 years. Roberta dedicated her life to God at an early age with First Baptist Missionary Church in Madill, Oklahoma. Roberta has been a faithful and active member of Antioch Baptist Church for over 50 years. She served with the Usher Board, Nurse's Aid, Nursery, Women's Ministry, and volunteered with the children during the summer programs. Roberta's faith in the Lord was strong and evident, as she reminded us daily to stay strong, pray, and keep the Faith!

"Cycle of Love"
On July 10, 1995, Roberta entered into holy matrimony with Ollie Howell, and they shared twenty-nine years of love together. They shared their love not only with one another but with their blended blessed life of daughters, family, and friends. With love, Ollie taught her to love horses and showered Roberta with love, protection, and peace. Roberta was his "POOH," and they cherished their union, and she was forever grateful for her husband. Roberta had a passion for gardening, decoration, painting, and collecting African-American art. She loved to have family time and gatherings during the holidays with not only her family but friends as well. She loved and cherished her grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, and nephews. Roberta was a queen who carried herself with elegance and class. Even during her hardest trials, she always kept God first. She made sure that her legacy of love would continue and that family would strive to put one another first. She walked with integrity, and never gave up. She left her youthful beauty and  infectious smile and strength that will be continued through generations.

"Cycle of Time"
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Clarehouse Hospice facility. The Father called Roberta home where she united in heaven with her parents, Angie Lee King and Alfonso King; sisters, Betty Brown, May Pearl King, and Juanita Faye King; brothers, Charles King, Horace King, Alfonso Jr. King, and Jerry King.

"Cycle of Grief"
Roberta leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Ollie Howell and the Howell family; daughters, Candace Cash and Camille Cash of Tulsa, Monica Cash (Jermece Cash, Jamequa Jackson, and Keim Carter) of Texas, Robin Cash (Emani Cash) of Tulsa, Robia Cash (Kaye Jolie Onuris and Kaelen Childs) of Tulsa, and Cheritta Haynes (Reggie and Eli Haynes) of Texas; sister, Joyce King; brothers, Johnnie Dale King, Ronald King, Floyd King, Lance King, and Jerry King; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Sacred Farewell for Mrs. Howell will commence on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:30 PM in the most holy sanctuary of Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa, where Pastor Marla Mayberry will officiate.

You may visit Roberta, as she slumbers in sweet repose in the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc.- Tulsa on Friday between the hours of 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
