Rodger Dale Luallen

Rodger Dale Luallen was born on October 7, 1955, in Walden, Missouri, to Willie Luallen and Kathleen (Walton) Pickard. At an early age, he attended the Walden Public School System and graduated with the Class of 1973 from Walden High School.

After high school, Rodger moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where he attended OSU-Okmulgee and earned a degree as a Computer and Electronics Technician. In 1974, he met the love of his life, Marcha Lampkin, and the two were united in marriage on June 2, 1977. From this union, four children were born.

Rodger was an excellent provider and a devoted family man. He was a dedicated employee, working for Liberty Glass for twenty years and GRC for fifteen years. In his spare time, he loved fishing, watching OU football, and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals on television. He especially treasured spending time with his grandson Memphis and enjoyed raising Heaven as his own.

Mr. Rodger Dale Luallen, after 70 years, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Rodger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcha Luallen; his children, Marcus Luallen, Mario Luallen, and Marcy Luallen; his parents, Kathleen (Huel) Pickard and Willie (Betty) Luallen; his grandparents, Rev. Earnest and Ethel Walton; and his brother, Phil Luallen.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Marisa (Donald Aldrich) Pickard; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Family Conducted Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Tenth Hour in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Henryetta, Oklahoma, where Bishop Wild will officiate.
