Ronda Alecia Taylor was born to Thelma Irene Taylor and Ezekiel Williamson on August 21, 1959 and was a life-long resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ronda came into this world with her twin sister Robin Alease Taylor. She would like it noted that she was 5 minutes older.
Ronda, affectionately called "Bean", began her formal education at Charles S. Johnson Elementary, Roosevelt Jr High, and went on to Central High School where she graduated with the class of 1977. Her journey then took her to Northeastern State University and Central State University.
Ronda met Aaron Chaplin and a baby girl Rondrea Ameen Taylor was born.
Ronda was introduced to Christ, at an early age, while attending Holsey Chapel CME in Tulsa Oklahoma. She sung in the Missionary choir and actively and diligently served in other church auxiliaries until her health limited her participation.
Ronda was proudly employed by the State of Oklahoma until her retirement in 2010. When not reading and studying the Word, she loved playing dominos and pool along with singing and dancing.
Ronda transitioned her life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 61 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister
Ronda is survived by her loving daughter Rondrea Taylor, siblings: Ocie Taylor (Gwen), Edward Taylor (Gloria), Edwina Taylor, Sharon Anderson, and Robin Taylor all of Tulsa, Ok and Deborah Schumpert of Sacramento, California. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
