As the sun rose on June 13, 1960 in Allen, Texas, a beautiful, loving baby girl was born to Lucille and Sam Jackson and they named her Rose Ann Jackson, but everyone called her "Kitty." She was a beautiful bubbling bundle of joy with such pretty brown sugar colored skin. Rose was raised by a special lady named Agnes Connor in McKinney, Texas.
Rose attended Slaughter Elementary School, J.W. Webb and Fabian Jr. High, all in McKinney, Texas. In 1975, Rose relocated to Muskogee, Oklahoma and completed her education at Muskogee High School.
Rose accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the young age of 9 years old. She had two beautiful children. On January 27, 1978, she gave birth to her first baby boy, Willie Jackson. Later, on September 21, 1984, she gave birth to her baby girl, Tanesha Ann Jackson Nunley.
Rose was kind hearted and would do anything to help others, as her career led her to give care for others. Rose was called home on Friday evening, April 29, 2016, when the sunset, she closed her eyes. God's calling had Rose alert, looking for his Angel as He held out his hand to her and whispered in her ear "Rose" my child, come join me in my Kingdom in Heaven. She was obedient and exhaled, and now she rests in the Father's hands, as she is reunited with her special Mother, Agnes Connors and her sister, Lillie Mae Jones. She will truly be missed.
those preceding her in death are her mother, Lucille, her father, Sam, her special mother, Agnes and her sister, Lillie Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a son, Willie [Kim] Jackson; a daughter, Tenesha Ann Jackson Nunley, all of Muskogee; her mother-in-law, Geneva Smith; six grandchildren, Dynasty Craig, Corey Chaplin, Trevion Evitt, Isyss Patton, Keshaun Jackson and Kanius Parker; four step-children, Nakeisha, Michael, Jennifer and Tamara Wilson, all of Muskogee; and a special friend, Arthur Blackmon; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
