Obituary
The book of life opened for Roselyn Renee Cullom on September 1, 1962, as God's bundle of joy to Delois and Dewey Cullom. she was affectionately known as "Nay-Nay" by family and friends. Roselyn attended Muskogee Public Schools before relocating to Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, she met and married Curtis Dewayne McCrary in July of 2002.
Roselyn joined the staff at Verio Global Network and later, budget Corporation before becoming the proprietor of Concept Garage Doors, but her most rewarding work was in Home Health Care. Helping others was a priority in her life.
Roselyn was one who truly loved life and family. She was not only a loving sister, but a loving Mother, wife and daughter. She was blessed in this life with two wonderful sons, Skylar and James. In 2008, she returned to Muskogee to assist with the care of her Mother and united with the Rayfield Baptist Church. There will always be a special place in the hearts of those who really knew her.
The book of life closed for Roselyn on Monday, July 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her Father, Dewey Cullom, a sister, Audrey and two brothers, Fred and Novis.
She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 13 years, Curtis McCrary; two sons, Skylar Brooks, Muskogee, Oklahoma and James A. McCrary, Tulsa, Oklahoma; her Mother, Delois Cullom, Muskogee, Oklahoma; three sisters, Yvonne Hughes and Cecelia Linex, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Deborah English [Morris], Muskogee, Oklahoma; three brothers, Dewey Cullom, Detroit, Michigan, Ellwyn Cullom, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bernus [Linda] Cullom, Hominy, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Deacon Brooks, Dallas, Texas and Levi Brooks, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her Mother-in-law, Jeanette McCrary, Dallas, Texas; a Sister-in-law, Christy McCrary, Dallas, Texas; three Brothers-in-law, Ronald [Joanne] McCrary, Allen, Texas, Remonte McCrary and Michael [Yolanda] McCrary, both of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.
The Hour of Remembrance will be on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Rayfield Baptist Church. Reverend Leroy Walker, Sr., Pastor, will officiate.
You may visit Mrs. McCrary on Thursday from 12 Noon until 6 PM at the funeral home.
