Obituary

Mrs. Rosie Lee Chinneth, after 85 years, "made her way to Heaven" on Friday, April 29th, 2022 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On July 27, 1936, a bouncing baby girl was born to parents of Eulis and Elizabeth Oliver in a community known as South Haven in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This child was named Rosie Lee Oliver (Chinneth). Rosie Lee joined Cornerstone Baptist Church in South Haven at an early age. She grew up and attended Tulsa Public Schools.

She was married for many decades to Cleveland Chinneth and from that union one child was born, her name was Maxine Chinneth (Billingslea). Earlier in life she had seven children from three former unions. She worked at Camelot Hotel as an amazing cook. In her later years she joined Kingdom Keys Ministries and renewed her relationship with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, she loved him with all her heart.

Rosie Lee had a big heart and always opened her home for those who needed a place to live. She had a sincere love for flowers and plants, she had one the most adored yards for over forty years. She enjoyed life and spending time with her very large family. She was known as "Big Mama" and loved by every generation of her family. Each year on her birthday they all came together to celebrate her life. She went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2022.

Rosie Lee was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Chinneth, her siblings: Ellen Musgrove, Maggie Sanders, Kathereen Sanders, Doreatha Ora Jean Ballard (Williams), Fannie Mae Ballard, Rosetta Ballard, Clydene Oliver (Baker), Cora Oliver (Oliver), and Evit Oliver. Two sons Lewis Mack and Dennis Johnson. Grandkids John Kelley, DeMarco Price, Ronald Woods Jr., Donte Covington Sr., Markey Goff, Maurice Randle, and Isaiah Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters and two son-in-laws: Rose Brown, Willa Woods, Lottie Mosley, Toni Burch, Debra Mosley (Del), and Maxine Billingslea (Leroy) all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rosie has over 200 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Sacred Farewell for Mrs. Chinneth will be held Friday, May 13, at 11:00AM at Kingdom Keys Ministries in Tulsa.
