Ruby Jewel Rentie was born on December 22, 1940 to Clyde and Edith Harris Rentie. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Ruby attended school at Boynton Elementary, and later on through the years, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Secularly, Ruby Griffith worked for Tulsa Transit for 30 plus years. She was a loving person who took care of many people. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, and traveling. Her loving smile will be greatly missed. On the evening of July 14, 2017, Mrs. Ruby J. Griffith, traveled to Eternal Rest surrounded by her loving family. She was in proceeded in death by her son Stevie Griffith Rentie, her parents Clyde and Edith, one sister Bobbie Padillow, and three brothers Winford, Elgean, and Richard. Remaining to cherish her memories, her son Arvelester Rentie (Joyce), 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, sister Wilma Carruthers, brothers: Clyde Rentie (Barbara), Fred Rentie (Vertula), Alfred Rentie, and Theodore Rentie (Deadra), along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
