Better known to everyone as "Leon," Sammy Hall was born a bouncing baby boy to Angela Hall and Derrick Sanford, Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 11, 1987. Leon graduated from Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas with the class of 2006. He then went on to serve in the United States Marines. The influence of being raised in the church environment led him to join church at an early age. His favorite pastimes included playing video games, spending time with his little sister and going for walks. His journey on this side, but began on the other on April 09, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Remaining to cherish his precious memories: his parents Angela Hall (Terrilous Woodard), father Derrick Sanford, Sr. (Mavis), sister Terriunda "Hev'vey" Woodard, three brothers: Antonio Holmes, Derrick Sanford, Jr. and Sherrick Sanford, grandparents: Johnny Hall, Jr. (Maxine) Columbus, MS., Martha Walton (Andrew) Broken Arrow, OK., and Corine Wilson, Okmulgee, OK., Larry Sanford, Okmulgee, OK., aunts: Stacy Holbert, and Tammy Nash, uncles: Kerry Hall, Donald Ray Sanford, and Leon Sanford, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Sammy Leon Hall will be Monday April 18, 2011 at 1PM inside our All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa. Friends may visit him in Tulsa on Sunday from 3PM-5PM.
