Obituary

Samuel DaWayne Allen was born on July 18, 1976, the son of Sondria Allen and Samuel Dillon at Sperry Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Samuel received his education in the Lansing School District and graduated from Sexton High School with the Class of 1994. He was blessed with two beautiful daughters. His first daughter with Felicia Walker, Katiesha Walker was born in 1993. His youngest daughter with Yolanda Jackson, Kenya Allen was born in 1997. He loved his children and even though they lived in Michigan, he was a great father.
In 2003, Sam met Latonda and fell in love. They have been inseparable ever since. They were married in May of 2012. Samuel took in his three step-children and granddaughter as his own. He loved his wife so much and when you saw her, you knew he was there as well.
Sam was a family man that loved the Lord. He wouldn't miss a Sunday without going with his family to Praise the Lord. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Taft, Oklahoma.
Sam worked as a machine operator from 2004 to 2010 until he injured his back and was unable to continue heavy labor. He later became self-employed and there was nothing he couldn't do. He loved working on his 1978 Malibu and riding his motorcycle on sunny days. He rode so much on the highway that his biker buddies started calling him "Freeway!" Sam was also an excellent cook and was known for making cheesecakes from scratch.
Lovingly called "Boss Ross", Sam enjoyed his motorcycles and later joined "Fast Bikez" and became brothers with some amazing bikers that shared the same love and excitement for "Fast Bikez." He touched so many lives in his 38 years of life and was always such a giving person. Even after he transitioned on to a better place, Sam was still being a blessing to others. He was able to save two other lives.
Samuel DaWayne Allen "traveled up the King's Highway" on Friday, March 20, 2015 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sondria Allen, father, Samuel Dillon, his God-father, William Johnson, Sr., and a very close friend, Willie Guest.
He leaves in God's care; his loving wife, Latonda Allen; his daughters, Katiesha Walker and Kenya Allen, both of Lansing, Michigan; his granddaughters, Kamari Walker and Raquel Cone; his sister, Shakeya Allen, Addison, Texas; his brother, Howard Townsend, Lansing, Michigan; his step-children, Demetrius Mayhue [Morgan], Coyle, Oklahoma, Monicia Lyday and Tre'vion Lyday, of the home; his God-mother, Georgia Johnson, Lansing, Michigan; his grandmother, Hazel Sturdivant, Augusta, Georgia; his Uncles, Michael [Jackye] Mason, Texas, Paul Mason, Seattle, Washington, William Johnson, Jr., Granite, Oklahoma; his Aunt, Debra Mason, Augusta, Georgia; along with a caravan of nieces, nephews, other relatives and his special brothers from Fast Bikez, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
