Obituary
Sandra Lynn Mack was born on February 28, 1967 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma from the union of Rosetta Wilson and Nathaniel Mack.
At an early age, Sandra accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at the New Salem Baptist church in Okmulgee, where she was an active member of the youth choir.
Sandra grew up in Okmulgee, where she attended Okmulgee Public Schools, graduating from Okmulgee Senior High School with the Class of 1985. While at Okmulgee High, she participated on the Girls Basketball Team and also the Track Team. After high school, she furthered her education at Oklahoma State Tech before moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Sandra worked as a Customer Service Representative for Guardian Security. In May of 1997, she married Frederick Humphrey and their union was blessed with two, beautiful children. Sandra had a fun-loving spirit and enjoyed spending time with family. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sandra Lynn Mack Humphrey, in her 45th year, dozed into the peaceful slumber of eternal peace on Monday morning, April 16, 2012 from her home in Glenpool. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Phillip Mack.
She leaves to lament her death; her loving husband of 15 years, Frederick Humphrey and her children, Baily Rose and Broderick Wilson Humphrey, all of the home in Glenpool, Oklahoma; her siblings, Rosetta Montgomery, Rickie [Janice] Montgomery, Donnie Montgomery, all of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Greg Jackson, Hawthorn, California, Dedrick [Carolyn] Jackson, Sands Springs, Oklahoma, and Ulonda Jackson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nathaniel [Wanda] Mack, Jr., and David Mack; her father-in-law, Lionel Humphrey, Sr., Anahuac, Texas, her mother-in-law, Nellie [Raymond] Thibodeaux; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rosell Humphrey, Lionel Humphrey, Jr., Jerry O. Humphrey, Ramsey Humphrey, Irene M. Morrison and Connie Lewis; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends that will cherish her beautiful memory.
The Celebration of her life will be on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Crosstown Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brother Charlie Kimes will officiate.
You may visit Sandra, as she slumbers at the funeral home in Tulsa on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
