Obituary
Sarah J. Fultz, in her 71st year, transitioned from life's labor to everlasting glory on Thursdya, January 17, 2013.
She was born in Okmulgee on March 16, 1941, to Nathaniel and Helen Wilson. She was raised in Okmulgee and attended Historic Dunbar High School.
Sarah united in marriage to John L. Fultz in 1958. Their union was blessed with 4 children. They began their life together living in Los Angeles, CA, before returning to Okmulgee in 1970.
Mrs. Fultz loved to sew as a hobby and turned it into a career, She sewed for many in the community and also worked for Walmart for over 20 years in the Fabric and Cosmetics department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, a sister and a grandson. Remaining to lament her death; her husband of 54 years, John Fultz, Sr.; 4 children, Stephen [Sharon] Fultz, Dallas, TX, Cynthia Fultz, Jenks, OK, John [Kimberly] Fultz, Okmulgee and Christy Fultz, Broken Arrow, OK; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Service of Memory for Mrs. Fultz will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Preston, Oklahoma. Reverend Willie Antwine, Jr., is the gracious host Pastor and Reverend Earl Tottress, Pastor of Good Shepherd Baptist Church of Tulsa, will Officiate.
You may visit Mrs. Fultz on Friday from 10 AM until 6 PM at the funeral home in Okmulgee.
