On February 14, 1986, a bundle of joy was delivered to Damita and Sammy Taylor, JR. They named their bundle of joy Seone L. Taylor. He was the first child born to this union. Also born to the union were Shamika, Jasmine, Oceona, and Chontay. Seone accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age of 8 at Mt. Rose Baptist Church.

Mr. Taylor graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 2004 in Tulsa. He was working on his Bachelor's Degree from Tulsa Community College until his passing. He had an overwhelming admiration for Michael Jordan and had a large selection of Air Jordan shoes, as well as clothing apparel. Seone also loved the cooking show Emerald, playing PlayStation, basketball, and the MDA Camp games such as power soccer, fishing, swimming, and taking pictures.

Remaining walking in faith; his parents Damita and Sammy Taylor, JR., his siblings, grandparents: Norma J. Price, and Lennice Marie Taylor, his aunt Sue Gaiters, Vonzetta Barber, Mildred, Charity, Elanor, Nancy, Melody, Melva, Faith and Rachelle Jones, his uncles Eugene, Kenny, Bryan, Terry Ward, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, teachers and friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Taylor will be Monday, April 16, 2007 at 11AM at Mt. Rose Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
