"Her Story"

On February 6, 1995, a beautiful angel was born to Demeltria Berry and Herman Patterson, Jr. in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They named their bundle of joy Sharbre Antoinette Berry. Sharbre loved and lived life to the fullest, enjoying it with family and friends. She had a loving and giving spirit at an early age. She had great patience, was kind hearted and had a smile that could light up a room.

Sharbre attended Tulsa Public Schools from Kindergarten thru the 11th grade, including Roosevelt Elementary, Carver Middle School, and The Historic Booker T. Washington High School. She was proud to be a part of the Hornets' Class of 2013. During her time at "Booker T," she was involved in numerous activities. She was currently a part of the "T Connection Band." She was also Vice President of the morning Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and chaired the birthday committee to celebrate monthly birthdays at the Peoria Campus Vo-Tech. Everyone that met Sharbre knew that she was a leader and never met a stranger. She enjoyed her current jobs at Aeropostale and Quik Trip. Everyone that knew her knew that her job, dog, and friends were her life! She was very kind hearted and often went out of her way to help others and to make sure they received what they needed. Her future plans were to become a pharmacist. She dedicated her life to Christ early on at Corner Stone Baptist Church. She then enjoyed attending and being a part of S.O. Fly at the Greenwood Christian Center.

On December 19th, 2011, shortly after 4:30PM, the Lord called the most humanitarian angel he had on Earth to come home. As she stopped and spoke with God, she said, "God, what about my mom, dog, family and friends, O' Lord? I have so many people waiting for me to volunteer and comfort." God spoke and said "I will be there to watch over them, to protect them and fulfill all of your requests." God said, "come with me now my child I have many task for your joyful heart to fulfill."

In her short visit on Earth, she loved her family whole heartedly. Her memory and smile will forever be in our hearts. She leaves behind her loving parents, Demeltria Berry, and Herman Patterson, Jr., her brothers, and sisters, great-great grandmother Viola Berry, great-grandmothers: Anna Ruth Berry, Louise Settle, and Mary Arnold, grandparents: Willie and Cassandra Thomas, Sylvester Berry, Jr., Alice Berry, and Reba Patterson, uncles: Sylvester III, Mark, Malcolm (Elena), Matthew, and Joshua, aunts: Tia (Marquis), Delores, and Cynthia, her loving dog, Royon "Prince" Berry, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous beloved relatives, and friends.

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." ~1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
