Obituary

Sharon Denise Harmon was born on April 18, 1977 to Sherwin Lee, Sr. and Sheila Mae Love Harmon in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She attended Cherokee Elementary in Muskogee before relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she attended Cherokee Elementary and Gilcrease Middle School. Sharon graduated in 1996 in the top 10 of her class at Nathan Hale High School where she served in the program as Sailor Harmon in ROTC for four years. Her life goal was to serve in the Navy.

Many people were not aware that Sharon fought a long hard fight with Diabetes since the age of 11 years old. She camouflaged her pain and sadness with a big smile and a sound of laughter that hugged and tickled your heart.

Sharon was her own fashionista. She was affectionately known as the "Beautician" by family and friends. She loved cooking, crocheting, and decorating. Sharon could put together anything without reading instructions. Sharon loved to sing, dance, being photographed, and bowling with friends. Sharon gave birth to Valencia Sharyah Deshae Harmon affectionately known by Sharon as "Bubbles". Jodi Sheleyah Lee'shae Dean-Harmon was Sharon's youngest daughter. She demonstrated courage to her daughters, Valencia and Jodi by taking them to church and doing bible study at home with them and their Uncle Stermond.

On May 25, 2015 God called Sharon home to rest. Her loved ones that went before her: paternal grandmother Pauline Harmon, maternal grandmother Minnie Brady (London), paternal grandfather, Elijah Harmon; two uncles, Stermond Stephenson and Darrell Lynn Abernathy (Po-Ab); aunt, Imogene Lurks; and two cousins, Roderick Gibbs and Stevie Stephenson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Sherwin Lee, Sr. (Lila) of Muskogee and her mother, Sheila Love Harmon of Tulsa; her two daughters, Valencia Harmon and Jodi Dean-Harmon of Tulsa; two sisters, Shavonna Rucker of Tulsa and Tora Harmon of Muskogee; seven brothers, Sherwin Lee, Jr. (Billie Joe) of Tahlequah, Derrick Harmon (Summer) of Oklahoma City, Michael Harmon of Independence, Kansas, Chad Burkhart, Eric Harmon, Kalyn Harmon, Tevon Harmon of Muskogee, her cherished precious nieces (angels), Lexus and LaTrica Harmon and Kyran Bills, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
