Mrs. Sharon K. Weldeghebriel, in her 56th season, dozed into the tranquil peace of eternal slumber on Wednesday afternoon, July 1, 2009 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was born in Hillsboro, Kansas, the daughter of Otto and Irma [Klassen] Janzen on June 14, 1953. She grew up in Goessel, Kansas, and attended elementary and high school there.
Sister Sharon then matriculated to McPherson, Kansas, where she attended college and Nursing School. While at Nursing school, in 1985, she met her husband, Tecle, and they fell in love and united in Holy Matrimony in 1988.
Together, they lived in Wichita, Kansas until moving to Coweta, Oklahoma in 1997.
Mrs. Weldeghebriel loved music and played the flute. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of World Outreach Church. She loved Worship and Prayer.
She was a lovely homemaker, enjoyed decorating her home, raising her children and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Stuart and a sister, Delphadean.
Those that wait on the Lord; her devoted husband, Tecle, of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; her son, Alex, her daughter, Leah, her brothers, Junior & Joyce Janzen, Hesston, Kansas, Maynard Janzen, North Newton, Kansas and Leon & Juanita Janzen, Hsston, Kansas; along with other relatives and friends.
For Convenience, Visitation will be on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Wilson Chapel CME Church, 21757 East 141st street in Coweta. The Graveside ceremony will be on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10 AM in the Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. A Memorial Celebration will follow at 11 AM in teh Emanuel Southern Baptist Church, 28052 E. 128th in Coweta. Reverend Billy Creech is the gracious host Pastor, and Pastor Jerry Spurrell, Pastor of World Outreach Church in Tulsa, will Officiate.
Casket bearers will be Kyle Janzen, Keith Janzen, Kenton Janzen, Kim Janzen, Chad Janzen and Kris Townsend.
