June 17 ^th , 1954 Sharon Joyce Gray was born unto Bo and Mary Lee Gray in Muskogee, OK.  Sharon aka "Shon" was not only the eldest of seven more siblings, but Grand Dad's oldest grandchild and she was quick to let you know it.  Being an accomplished beautician, she could get your head fried, dyed and laid to the side.  Not mention, roll some of the juiciest jheri curls in the Midwest.  Her work was featured in several hair magazines.

Everyone was always welcome at Shon's house.  Family, friends, loved ones and even a few she might not have even known.  Don't come in out of line because she was a straight shooter, no chaser.  Sharon was a giver, when she hit at Bingo everybody Bingo'd.  That was just her heart!  She loved God and her signature song will forever be "God Specializes." The song is a true testament of her life and relationship with the father. God specializes in the things thought impossible and he will do what no other power but the holy power can do and that power was demonstrated throughout her entire life.

God called Sharon home January 23 ^rd , 2017.  Her legacy of off-spring consists of Children: Tamica Webber, Adrion Robbins (Angel Robbins) and Latrice Coulter (Chris Coulter Sr.) Grand Children: John-Michael Webber, Brittany Webber Jones (Brian Jones), Michael Webber Jr., Adrion Webber, Mashauri Robbins, Kristen Robbins, Shareece Robbins, Chris Coulter Jr., Cayden Robbins and a plethora of Great Grandchildren.  Siblings: Cornelius Gray (earned wings), Robert Gray, Linda Jones (Michael Jones), Cynthia Gray-Thompson (Stafford Thompson), Edwin Gray (Maria Gray), Larry Gray and Lisa Gray-Piper (Clifford Piper).  And to the many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends, you all are loved.  Until we meet again….

The Sacred Farewell to Sister Sharon will commence on Monday morning, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the most Holy sanctuary of the Divine Love Christian Fellowship,  500 North "F" Street.  Bishop Michael Webber, Senior Pastor, will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Gibson Station, Oklahoma.

You may visit Ms. Whitaker, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
