Sheila K. Randolph was born July 10, 1957, and went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2022. She was the second of five children born to Morris Pope, Jr., and Annie B. Pope.
Sheila was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at Muskogee General Hospital and she grew up and attended Tulsa public schools. She attended and graduated from Tulsa McLain High School in 1975. Sheila has always been a hard worker and began working early.
Sheila worked at her first job at age seventeen at the Holiday Inn in Tulsa. After high school, she worked for five years at Sheffield Steel as a steelworker. She then became a Tech Support Supervisor at another local company for several years. She then worked for ten years for the US Post Office as a Rural Route Carrier at the Northside Post Office. Sheila began working at AT&T on January 8, 2007. She was a member of CWA local 6327, as well as the Network employee group which promotes leadership and diversity in the African American community as well as the local community at large. Sheila was loved and adored by her AT&T family. Sheila was well liked and was known as the "mother" of the group amongst
her co-workers.
She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Sheila loved her family and enjoyed talking, particularly to her mother every day. She was loved by her entire family and had a close relationship with all from young to old. Sheila enjoyed cooking, especially during holidays, and enjoyed cooking her favorite foods which was greens and German chocolate cake. Sheila would do anything to help anyone in need. Sheila loved spending time outdoors and especially loved fishing and planting in her flower bed. Sheila will always be remembered for her huge and bright smile that could light up any room.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Morris Pope, Jr., and her favorite uncle, Ronnie Pope.
She is survived by her mother, Ann Pope; three children, Aiashain Christopher Hendrix, Kristianna Randolph, and Aaron Harbert; two grandchildren, Aiashain Christopher Hendrix, Jr., and Christopher; sisters, Debra Diane Watson, Lawanna Vizcarrondo, and Kristy Edwards (Darryl); one brother, Morris Pope III (Michelle); six nieces, Sheree, Myia,Vette, Angie, Nikiyah, and Micayla; ten nephews, Eric, Torrance, Trevorton, Mekai, Kris'sean, Johnathan, Cameron, and Braylon, "Darryl Darryl;" baby, Darryl Franklin; and countless aunties, cousins, and extended family and friends across the country.
Mrs. Shelia Kaye Randolph, 64, Transitioned to Earthly Rest on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Hour of Remembrance honoring the life of Mrs. Shelia Randolph will commence on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM, in the most holy sanctuary of the New Life Ministries in Taft, with Pastor Michael Gaulden officiating.
Burial will immediately follow the services in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
