Celebration of the Life of Sherman Shelby Souder
Shermand Shelby Souder was born on December 21, 1961 to Franklin C. Souder, Sr. and Fredonia Souder-Samuels. He was the youngest of seven children.
Sherman was a city employee for Denver, Co and Muskogee, OK for the majority of his life. He enjoyed working with the Park & Recreation services doing landscaping. He was an avid sports fan and music lover. He had a love for acting and was a member of the cast in the play "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" in Muskogee.
Sherman departed this earth in September of 2017.
He is preceeded in death by his father Franklin Sr, mother Fredonia, and brother Franklin Jr.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing a daughter and her mother Kyandra & Kera Vann of Denver, CO; two brothers: Hugh (Gus) Souder of San Diego, CA and Kenneth Souder of Escondido, CA; three sisters: Mary Walzer-Marshall of Tulsa, OK, Margaret Moore of El Paso, TX and Edith Johnson of Hattieville, AR. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and extended family friends: Marie Taylor, Geneice Brame and Darrius Taylor-Lewis. He will be missed by many other relatives and close friends as well.
Memorial Services are scheduled for Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM Spencer Memorial United Methodist Church for Mr. Sherman Souder.
