One gorgeous spring day, Earl and Cecil Marie Gross had reason to celebrate. They were blessed on that day, the 5th Day of April in 1962, with a joyful, bouncing baby boy. They decided on the name of Stanley Jerome.
Stanley grew up in Muskogee and attended Muskogee Public Schools, where he loved to play football. While in High School, he bumped into a young lady from Reeves addition named Kimberly Norwood and she became his high school sweetheart. Stanly fell in love with Kim and they were united in Holy Matrimonyon June 12, 1993. From their love, two lovely daughters were born.
Stanley loved life and every one who was in his life, he loved unconditionally. Always fun to hang out with, Stanley was full of joy and laughter. His favorite hobby was fishing and loved being outdoors.
Stanley accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and united with the Saint Mark Baptist church under the late Reverend Theodore Hickerson.
In 1994, Stanley and his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he provided for his family through employment as a Forklift Driver for Menlo Worldwide Logistics.
