Obituary

HIS BIRTH
Stanley B. LuGrand Sr . was born April 21, 1962 to Emma and Elmer LuGrand in Okemah Oklahoma.
HIS LOVE FOR CHRIST
Stanley accepted Christ at an early age at the Christian Church in Boley Oklahoma under Rev C.B. Nichols.  He joined by Christian experience at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas under Pastor Tarrance C. Floyd 2006. He sometimes attended the Cowboy Church in Spencer on occasion with friends.
HIS LIFE
Stan as he was affectionately called was proud to be called a Boley Bear. He attended Boley elementary and high school where he excelled in sports.  He was a member of the 1980 basketball team that best Paden and won the District Championship!. He paid particular attention to how he dressed and had his swag on at all times (cowboy boots of course).  Stan never meet a stranger and made friends wherever he went.  He was a strait shooter and you always knew where you stood with him. After graduation he worked for Smokaroma Inc., as a Supervisor and Fork-lift operator in Boley, Ok. Stanley was always a dependable, hardworking employee.  He finished his work career at ETI in Oklahoma City, OK as a fork-lift operator where he received a certificate of recognition for 7 years of dedicated service.
Stanley's deep and abiding love caused him to be protective and propelled him to be the best father he could be for his children; twins Mallissa, Larrissa, Stanley Jr, Danisha, Shayla, Nehemiah and Kyle. Stanley loved all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, & motorcycle riding. He was a faithful member of the Ol School Round Up Club and could always be found riding in the Boley parade. He was an excellent cook, and loved to brag that he could cook better than his sisters (not true of course, but he loved to say it).
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Emma LuGrand and one sister Dorothy Williams.
HIS MEMORY
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Mallissa Gumbs, Larrissa Zachery, and  Danisha LuGrand of Edmond Oklahoma, Kyle Wilkins of Hawaii, Shayla LuGrand and her mother Jackie of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Betty Williams of IXL, Oklahoma,  sons Stanley Jr (Andrea) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Nehemiah and his mother Skylar of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Grand children, Jazlyn, Crystal, Iah, Enya, Xzaiver, Maliah, Zenobia, Stanley III, Darrius, Abram, Noah, Emma, Jeremiah, Josiah, and Maurice V. His siblings Bettey Tryon of Oklahoma City, Elmer E. LuGrand( Gloria) Boley, Oklahoma, Jacqueline (Tarrance) Floyd of Wichita, Kansas, Cynthia (Ricky)Sanders of Norman Oklahoma, Eulys Fishier , Oklahoma City, Ok and Shirley Fisher, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
You may visit Mr. LuGrand, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in the Hyde Park Chapel, Boley, Oklahoma on Friday from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
A private graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday.
