Stephanie Nicholson was born September 17, 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Kathryn Nicholson. She grew up and attended schools in Muskogee, graduating from Muskogee High School in 1988. She worked various jobs, until she earned her BA from Connors State College. She lived and worked in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, working for Bank of Oklahoma before getting hired by the government and working for several agencies in Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Kathryn Nicholson; dad, Ivory Marks; and two brothers, Charlie Nicholson and Roderick Nicholson.

Ms. Stephanie Nicholson, after 52 years of life, transitioned from Earth to Everlasting Life on Friday, October 7, 2022  in Littleton, Colorado.

She leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Vanessa (Ron) Topping of Muskogee, OK; brother, Alan Nicholson of Plano, TX; two nieces, Antonette Owens-Peete of Claremore, OK, and Victoria (Chike) Nneli of Princeton, TX; three nephews, Reverend Michael (Quiana) Nicholson and Patrick (Erika) Garrett, both of Muskogee, OK, and Alex (Stephanie) Nicholson of Plano, TX; sister-in-law, Anna Nicholson of Muskogee, OK; and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, other family, and friends.

A Service of Memory to honor her life will commence on Saturday, October 29, 202 at the Tenth Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Macedonia Baptist Church.
