In Carlinville, Illinois, J. K. and Anne Hulcher celebrated the arrival of a new son on January 18, 1952. They named him Stephen Timm Hulcher. Affectionately referred to as "Timm", he grew into a strong-willed man. Some would even say stubborn, but simply a Man in every sense.
Timm built homes during the 1970's in Tahlequah, and also worked in the car business for 20 to 30 years. He began working for the V.A. Regional Office Call Center as a Phone Technician about a year ago and made many friends. He loved talking to Veterans all over the world.
Timm loved to cook, always saying that his mom raised him to be a good house wife. He wrote a little poem; "Time is was it is, time it was it was, and time is all we have." Timm met his wife, Kim 14 years ago on Thanksgiving and have been married for 12 years. His birthday was on January 18th, Kim's was February 18th, so they were married on May 18th.
In Muskogee, Oklahoma, it was on Thanksgiving afternoon, when God, in His infinite wisdom, closed Timm's eyes on Earth for the last time. He was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters [Kay Alvarado and Beth Baker] and a brother, David Hulcher.
Timm leaves in God's care to cherish his loving memory; his devoted wife, Kimberly Hulcher; his son, Stephen Timm "Chico" Hulcher, II, [ because Timm said he was too young to be a senior]; his daughters from his previous marriage, Angela [Jason] Streeter, Tahlequah, OK, Tammera
[Carlos] Arriaga, Muskogee, OK and Elizabeth [Jacob] Hulcher-Chavez, El Paso, TX; five grandchildren; two brothers, Karl [Brenda] Hulcher, Park Hill, OK and Garland [Kathy] Island, Fayetteville, AR; his sister, Edna [Keith] Denton, Monroe, MI; along with other relatives
and friends.
A Memorial Ceremony will be celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Bethany Presbyterian Church.
