Summer Logan was born December 13, 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Terry Ross and Carla Warrior Logan. She grew up with her two sisters and one brother.

Summer attended Checotah Public Schools, while attending school she loved learning about poetry and nature.

At an early age she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and became a member of Mt. Olive Star Baptist Church.

Summer had a sweet and caring spirit. She loved spending time with family and friends and was known as the life of any gathering. Her past time was spent listening to music and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. She truly was a woman full of life and laughter.

Summer faced many health challenges during her life, but she never complained. Her peace and strength came from knowing she was under the shadow of her Creator.

On Friday August 21, 2020, surrounded by family Summer peacefully transitioned to eternal rest.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ellis and Annie Mae Warrior and her paternal grandmother, Jennifer Morgan; and several aunts and uncles.

She leave to cherish her memory her father Terry Ross; mother Carla Warrior Logan; two sisters, Shawna Logan and Alicia Logan; one brother Dustin Logan and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services to Honor the precious life of Summer Yvonne Logan will be September 5, 2020 at 11:00AM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Checotah, Oklahoma.
