IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Susan Beverly
Williams
December 29, 1955 – May 22, 2017
Susan Beverly Orlando was born to Hope and Richard Orlando on Dec 29,1956 in Oconto, Wisconsin, and was the youngest of five; twins, Kathleen Bruce and Patrick Orlando, Michele (Dan) Jashinsky all of Wisconsin, and Dr. Michael Orlando of Louisiana. She spent her childhood in Coleman, Wisconsin where she attended Coleman grade and high schools. Susie, as she was affectionately called, was admired by her teachers and enjoyed learning new things. Patrick fondly remembers her being brilliant very early in her childhood, reading with Michele at the age of 4, her favorite childhood book, The Cat in the Hat, and completing multiplication problems at the age of 5. Susie carried her love for reading throughout her life time. She went on to pursue her degree in Nursing from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma where she excelled in her studies. Susie was a lover of animals; especially a Beagle named Barney whom she would watch chase squirrels up the tree of her back yard, in Claremore, but often suspected he would run away if they decided to turn back on him.
From her union with Jolomi Ogisi, she was blessed with a bouncing baby girl, Omare (Shon) Jimmerson of Tulsa, whom she often referred to as TMBWITW (the most beautiful woman in the world). Susie shared her time with Omare, as a child, teaching her to cook old family recipes and special Christmas cookies each year. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, Charis and Shon, and spoiling them with lots of love and toys. She even began passing on the love for cooking and baking during the time spent with them.
On May 22, 2017, the Lord saw fit to pluck one of his flowers from this world, rewarding her from labor. Susie is preceded in death by her mother, father and grandmother, Sally "Grandma" Ferris, and leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she treasured dearly.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 3PM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel.
